I have a love of blue, Victorian England, and the natural world. So of course I'm drawn to cyanotypes.
This early form of photography, pioneered by Victorian botanist Anna Atkins, is so ethereal and pretty (see Atkins' work above). I've had plans for quite awhile to combine the style of cyanotypes with Gocco printing . . . but living in the city imposes its limitations.
I need a weekend up in Vermont to gather some more interesting ferns and grasses.

Cyanotypes will translate beautifully to Gocco. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
These are beautiful! You will like these I bet: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mewpaperarts/2289441917/
I remember making cyanotypes when I was a kid. Oh you brought back!
I bought some of these for my son and we had fun looking for interesting silhouettes this past summer. These are very lovely.
